I’m scared that I screwed up.

So Im friends with this cute guy, Tom*. I told my friend Laura* to ask him if he likes me and he said just as a friend.
but then Tom* said to me, Laura* is bugging me about us going out and I was speechless so I just said “oh”. But I’m afraid we won’t be friends anymore after this,what do I do?

go out with him once, and if you see he is uncomfortable or that its not going to work out, then just play nice tell laura not to bug him anymore, and just be friends. its ok so long as you dont make a big deal out of it

There is no reason you two cannot try a date or two just to see what happens and how you two feel about it. However if he does not like you like that just remain friends and do not persue the date for if he doesn’t like you like that and you keep persueing him about it, he may become fed up with you and may not even want you as a friend any longer. So pursue if you both like each other like that. If he doesn’t like you like that please back off before you lose the friendship you have with him.
