Hallowe’en costumes?

It’s been getting harder every year, hasn’t it? I’m looking for something cool and original (ergo, not the traditional, non-committal fairy) but not lame. Cause I don’t want to dress like a **** but I don’t want to look like a little kid either! Last year I was Amy Winehouse, any ideas for this year? Multiple person costumes are also awesome. (:
