Okay I know this site is ment for “Helping” purposes and all, but I feel the need to rant a little.

God I hate being 16 and a senior in highschool. All I get is “Oh your a baby, your so young” all this crap and I’m so tired of it, just because I’m graduationg that young doesn’t mean crap. I think it should be an insult to everyone else that I’m only 16 and at where they are, I only take the highest classes that I can, that includes honors and Ap. I know that seems kind of rude and self-centered but I’m so sick of it all. I’m a senior that’s all that should matter, that’s it no grade nothing.

More power to you. I got the same “oh you’re just a baby” thing a day or two ago… but it’s because I’m a freshman in college and older girls are hitting on me thinking I’m a junior :P

Of course it should matter, it’s commendable and frankly I would think it would be gratifying to the center of attention for something so simple as to be young.

I don’t like it. All my life I’ve looked older that I actually am, and once people notice that I’m only 16 things change. Like today in Physics the guy Matt was all, you shouldn’t be exposed to this knd of behavior and I asked what behavior and he said human kind. I liked it when people didn’t know my age. I would love to be the center of attention and all, but not for my age.

And I know the truth I hate having it repeated everyday or everyother day. I’m not a typical teenager I guess. I don’t know I hate being young.

You always respond with sharp witty comebacks, eventually they will stop commenting when the word gets around. E.g., when that guy said you shouldn’t be exposed, you should have said, “You do realize I am younger than you but still in the same grade?” Would have probably shut him up, plus this is oft repeated advice but, when something is seen to bother someone in HS, others seem to do it more often. The more you ignore it, or make fun of it, the less it will come up.
