I bought a new Western Digital EIDE 320 GB laptop hard drive for my Thinkpad T30 2366-86U.

The BIOS recognizes the hard drive but I can’t boot from the dvd-rom drive when this hard drive is installed. I need to boot from dvd drive to install windows.
