Why do people dream?

Why does everybody seem to have some sort of ridiculous dream, that they think they can actually achieve? People need a more realistic view on life because 95% of the time, you will never be achieving that certain dream.

What are some peoples thoughts on this.

If people just accepted where they were placed in life then what kind of life would that be? Many people dream and realize their dreams because they work hard to achieve them. It gives them a goal to shoot for and a purpose in life.

tru dat, what if Rosa Parks had accepted her place in the world? what if martin luther king had? what if the womens sufferage movement had accepted their place? if people didnt have massive goals, nothing big would ever be achieved.

how did you get that 95% statistic?
anyhow, the answer is because without the dream, there wont even be that 5% population that achieve their dream. since the world’s population is currently at 6.7 billion, that means there are still 335 million people in the world that have their unrealistic dreams fulfilled.
btw on dream topic, i love rick warren’s purpose driven life book.
