My cat is doing my head in! - Help.com

My cat is doing my head in!

I have to store his food pouches in a plastic box because if I leave them out he rips them to shreds.
He has food down (fresh) all the time, clean water and even cat biscuits.
He is dewormed every 3 months yet he will not keep off the sides in the kitchen or stop meowing for food that other people have got.

And to top it off I just caught the freaking animal trying to rip open a packet of black clothes dye because it looks slightly like a food pouch!!!!
I mean OMFG what is with him!?!

LoL courtney, he is 4 yrs old now, far from being a kitten and he in a ginger tabby… Pain in the butt.
Just a weirdo cat, he has food down in his bowls all the time, it’s fresh and it’s his yet he decides that climbing on the sides to get food dye is a much better idea O_O

i have the same problem with my puppy, she has more toys than any child on this planet, yet rather than chew on the expensive, purpose made, teeth cleaning brain stimulating attention taking dog training specially designed toys she has, she would rather chew on my socks.
i think they do it just because they know it annoys us.

Lulz, I have a demon-kitteh too :)

Lil’ bugger will ignore the scratching post placed strategically at the edge of the bed and will hook his claws into the sides of my nice new sheets and fluffy pillow-top mattress and rip and wrench away until it gets my attention.

Yeah why do they do that??

I mean I bought a cat bet that cost £10 and he totally ignored that and chose to sleep in a tiny cardboard box that some computer stuff came in through the post… I didn’t even pay for the box and even now he is curled up asleep in it, dare I throw it out, no way lol

Sounds just like my kids. They always like the box it came in better than the toy itself! :(

Oh the little barstards, we all know that if they looked like toads they would be hateful creatures… but noooo, they are all cute and fuzzy and ‘look at me!’.
