Speeding ticket in GA under 21?

I got a speeding ticket today for going 14mph over the speed limit. I was wondering what is the worse I can get… I got a speeding ticket several months ago and sense I am under 21 they just made me take a driving class. Not sure if they will do that again though.

Story time!

I was on my way back from Quantico, Va heading to South Carolina. The speed limit was stuck at a measly 65 mph one a 2 lane. I swore I could see at least 10 miles ahead of me and was so **** happy, I was pushing my car at 83. Sadly, this blasted cop was hiding on the side and when i flew by, turned them lights on in a heartbeat. Anyways, I ended up with a 120-130 dollar ticket. I didn’t go to court because it was 5 hours away and i had doctors appointments to follow up on.

In any case, expect the worse and hope for the best. If you can talk your way out of it in court, more power to ya. Just do like i do and watch the roads carefully and fully if you’re gonna speed. That way you avoid getting a ticket and avoid crashing.

If you keep getting into trouble under 21 they can take your license. Your best bet, is to find out how much the fine is and pay it early. That way it doesn’t even go to court. If you were doing 15 miles over they could have taken your license right there and got you for reckless driving under the age of 21 auto revoke for 1 year. (I know from personal experience.)

Luck you andrew, I got an equip violation and a speeding ticket 5 hours away from home while I was pregnant on top of it, they charged me for out of state when I still lived in state, I called the courts to tell them of my problem getting to court since I as well had a doctors appointment and I was high risk pregnancy, they told me tough **** pretty much and charged me over 600 dollars I couldn’t pay that, I didn’t have a job. Lost my license for 3 years it was suspended due to failure to pay fines. By the time I got to pay the fines it cost me 1500$.
