in 2006 my family was run down by a drunk (and druged) driver, who had no licence or insurance…

… wife died, son has brain injury, i can not work, etc…… why does it take so long for the lawsuit to settle???? i am broke! and need it to settle in order to provide for my family, continue to rebuild my life, heal etc. there must be a better way!

Wow that’s harsh. I’m really sorry man.

I want to say something like “Money isn’t everything, try to find inner peace in other aspects of life”, but that’s a horribly lame and cliche thing to say. Obviously keep looking for work, try to get whatever you can. In the meantime, try art? Who knows, maybe you could make an original painting that fetches a high price :^) If nothing else, art (or music) can be a temporary escape from harsh realities.
