virus help: my uvula has been swollen for 3 days. - Help.com

my uvula has been swollen for 3 days.

It is not as bad as the first day, but not much better. It hurts to swallow and God forbid if i am trying to get something to come up. I have no flem buildup and my glands seem fine. I am however, tired and a little sore. Kind of like i just got run over.
a coworker just came in this morning with the same symptoms. Do you think it is viral? should i see a doctor?

wow, i thought i was the only weirdo that happened to. once it was so bad it was triggering my gag reflex all day, how miserable!! the only thing that ever worked for me, like within an hour, was doc prescribed anti inflammatory steroids.
