So apparently im really cold.

Im a 17 year old girl and my best friend (boy) just turned round and said this,

“your lovely i know that and so do all the people who know you well engoth, however to new people, genrally your cold propper cold and most new people dont like you because of this”
Then he was talking about this guy they had been talking to who i only met once and he had been saying how moody and cold i was and i asked how he could think that because i’ve never even spoken to him properly
my friend then said
” he got that impreshion in five mins, is that not prohaps telling you somthing?”

And then him and my boyfriend spent a while telling me how cold and horrible i am
I really didnt think i was and im really hurt by it, like crying.
I dont know why im posting this
Just wanting feedback i guess

Does everyone think im that horrible?

Life goes honey on and if your friends cannot accept you the way you are then they are not true friends. You just have to keep going.

Life is not about pleasing everyone you meet or everyone you hang out with.

Some people will like you, others not so much, while others will not be able to get enough of you. Take solace and consolation in that.

Your boyfriend should have stuck up for you. Perhaps you should ask him why being cold to strangers is a problem… would he prefer you were all warm and cozy with everyone you meet? I feel it is best to keep people at a distance (with the possible exception of future in laws) until you feel you know them and become more comfortable with them. There is nothing wrong with that and if people judge you and think they know you in five minutes they are fools.
