how do you know if someone’s cheating?

the guy i’ve been seeing asked me to go pick him up from the bar tonight. i got there & texted him to tell him i was waiting out front. i saw him standing out front with another girl. i’m pretty sure was his ex. it was raining so i can’t be 100% sure, but I think they kissed. It sure as hell looked like it. I went inside to ask him if he needed a ride & he looked shocked like he’d been caught doing something he shouldn’t be or a look like he didn’t know what i was doing there. He said he didn’t hear from me so he found another ride. I told him I’d texted him 6 times. I’d called him once too. But i walked out. I didn’t think i could stand there another minute with him looking at me like i was not supposed to be there and her standing there just staring at me. I feel so lost… I don’t know what to do. We have such a great connection, but this is something I don’t know if it can be fixed… What do I do? his phone is either dead or off…

Jeez, that’s lame. Booze always makes terrible things happen.

Well for what it’s worth your appearance at the bar probably made things awkward for them, if they’re sober enough to feel awkwardness… I dunno.

i was sober. why should terrible things happen to me? i realize it probably made it awkward for them, consider how awkward it was for me? and i don’t know what to do now…

Yea… sorry if my earlier post came off a little insensitive. To me nothing hurts more than the thought of the one you love with someone else… but having to confront that thought as a reality is ten times worse :^(

Sounds like this just happened - my best advice is to try and sleep it off. Pick out some chill tunes and try to sleep for now.

When morning comes, then face this guy if you want. Let him make the first move I say; wait for his call. If he doesn’t call, he’s clearly a jackass and you deserve better. If he calls, talk it over. His reply may surprise you, he may have lost control from intoxication or something. Or he might just give you some B.S. answer.

But if you guys stay together, be prepared for more stuff like this in the future… :^/

i hate it when people drink… it always leads to something bad :(… if he looked as if he had just been caught doing something bad… chances are he probably was.. im sorry to say it :(… alcohol make people do stupid shizz when they get drunk and thats the main reason i HATE it when people get drunk.. especially the ones i care about.. but there is a chance that he was drunk, suprised to see you, and really didnt hear his phone, and was just plain confused from the alcohol he had… but i doubt it… talk to him about it and if he seems like hes trying to make something up or lie.. kick him to the curb
