Help, I have somewhat to very low self esteem can anyone

help me raise it back up, i’ve tried everything to get rid of my acne and nothing works and I don’t have the money or health insurance to go see a dermatologist, I also want to get in better shape but everyone that I talk to says it’s going to take me 3-4 months but I don’t have that kind of time I want to get in shape in like 4-6 weeks

You know when I was younger I did not ever get acne, there was this girl who had acne and I always wished I looked like her. Acne does not take anything away from you, it might make you look even better. If you want to lose weight you should run. I would not worry about other things to build muscle because it can make you look bigger at first. If you can spend a couple days outside doing activities you will burn calories and the sun with give you a tan and the tan will make you look like you lost weight.

Hey man, I went all the way through highschool with some pretty harsh acne, but two years into college and I just see the occasional, manageable pimple. So yeah, I know it sucks, but it’s probably not going to last forever.

As far as losing weight is concerned, I lost a lot of weight this year just by walking places that I normally would drive to, such as the convenience store down the block. Your friends that tell you it’s going to take a long time are correct in that if you want beefy muscles and flat abs then it’s going to take a lot of dedication, but it doesn’t take nearly that long to achieve noticeable improvements.

if it is indeed true that it will take 3-4 months to lose weight.. then why not start now? imagine if you started THREE MONTHS ago right? then something would’ve changed. :)

fortunately, that may not be true in all cases. people can lose weight in less than two weeks. but don’t expect to lose a LOT of pounds. plus, it’s healthier if you do it gradually. and easier to commit too.

What do you mean you don’t have 3-4 months. Are you on your death bed? 3 or 4 months is going to come around whether you like it or not, so why not take advantage of times passing and just do it.

If there is some event you need to attend - like a wedding or reunion and your need to loose wait in short order, I agree with the earlier posts. First of all, reduce calorie intake and increase exercise. Speed / hill Walking and running and other cardio exercises are your best bets for immediate improvement.

As for your acne. Get to the beach. Saltwater and sunshine. Lots of saltwater swimming, daily does miracles.
