I didn’t see the movie. Did you watch it in class? A changeling is a mythical creature that can change shapes or forms but I don’t know what it symbolizes in the movie. Hope that helps a little.

Probably the movie is based on the novel. Still can’t help. Was there something in the book that the hero did that would relate to the mythical creature? Master of disguise or something?

no the movie is a completely different story, yes the boy Tom Curdie is accused of being a changeling by his mentor because he unwillingly destroys his teachers family. really the teachers channels his own guilt into blaming Tom though..
