I NEED HELP RIGHT NOW

i am 15 and i use to cut myself. i was so depressed and didnt want to live any more. after almost losing a real close friend cause eof cutting i was forced to stop. with my friends help i managed to keep from cutting in my roughest times. Now that my best friend (supporter) killed him self i am going through hell. i want to cut so bad. i am trying to fight the urge to do it but it is so strong i dont want to start back please help me.

stay strong, you can get through it, you dont need to cut yourself, just keep busy, mourn your friend but cherish your life, watch the movie saw, you’ll know what i mean. it really made me greatful

Hun I am so sorry about your friend! It sounds that you two were pretty close and tbh I’m sure your friend wouldn’t want you to be hurting yourself. Talk to me! I know what it’s like to have these feelings and its hard to stop the urges when they get so bad! I’m free to talk for however long you need to! :)

Go and lie down on your bed and close your eyes or sit on the bottom of the shower with the hot water running over you, breath deeply and tell yourself “everything is going to be ok” just say this to your self over and over until you start to feel better. This is the first thing to do right now - to just let the feeling to hurt yourself pass and to feel a bit calmer inside. After you have done that get a pen and paper and write down all the feelings you feel inside - don’t censor anything just write down anything and everything you feel until there is nothing left to write. Just do this for today and then (I don’t know what time it is where you are) just try and go to sleep or if you can’t just rest and listen to some of your favourite music which makes you feel good or watch a favourite tv show or movie and then go to sleep. Tomorrow is a new day. Sending you big big hugs xxxxxxx

Listen, we all have our ups and downs. Some of our downs last longer than we want them to.

Cutting? What is the point? Do you really think that it will release your pain and anger that you feel?

Can’t you find another outlet?

Write your emotions and your feelings down on paper and then read them to yourself again and again.

I would hope that whatever you feel that makes you want to cut is not as strong as your will to keep on going and facing this world that is out there for you to explore and find out new things.

Stay strong. Cutting is not a solution to anything. If anything, it only shows that your pain, anger, and depression are winning against you and you are just slowly but sure giving in to the pressure.

Come here. Talk to us. Tell us all about your pain and your depression. Believe me someone is here 24/7 ready to read and just because they don’t answer or reply that does not mean we don’t care. We don’t want to see you hurt and just like your pain is only yours, well share it with us. The more your share, the less it will become and the faster it will dissipate from your life and times.

We are here for you. If nobody else is there, we are. While it may be cyberworld to a lot of people, and some people is all they have, we are here none the less.

Talk to us. Don’t cut. Don’t succumb to that horrible temptation.

If you do and when you do, a lot of us will take it personal and will feel like failures because we couldn’t talk you out of it.
