I need a creative soul to help me with a bio project please
ok so for this bio project, we need to make a poster about cells. and we need to do something like “A cell is like a city, the nucleus is the town hall, the mitocondria is the power plant…..ect”
heres the guidlines:
Project: Work to create a visual model of a cell, using analogy to demonstrate the functions of the major parts and organelles. The model may be a poster or a three dimensional object.
Requirements: The model must include the following:
• A consistent analogy that connects all of the parts of the cell. One example is the cell “factory” pictured in the textbook. Do not just copy that example; however, a more specific idea (pizza factory, etc.) is acceptable. Other examples include a city or a house. Consider the functions of the different cell parts to develop an appropriate analogy. Creativity and accuracy will be rewarded.
• A total of 10 cell parts. The following 7 cell parts are required: cell membrane, nucleus, ribosomes, rough endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, mitochondria, chloroplasts. In addition, you must include 3 of the following cell parts: cell wall, cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, lysosome, nucleolus, smooth endoplasmic reticulum, vacuole.
• For each cell part, a sketch or picture of the appropriate analogy along with a description (in your own words) of the cell part’s function in the analogy (description may be next to the image or visible by lifting up a tab).
