I’m in 6th grade and I got my first boyfriend 5 weeks ago. Now on Halloween I’m gong on my first date to the park with a guy thats so sweet and sensitive. My dream guy. He asked me and he likes me so much but when we go to the park we might get ice cream but after that I have no idea what to talk about. school? personal? help!!!!!

just be yourself and no matter what you talk about, whether he brings it up or you, it will be enjoyable. Don’t worry about “preparing” something to talk about, just go with the flow and it will work out ;)

True, just be yourself and if he wants to talk let him take the lead. But, don’t rehearse or anything like that, that just makes a person more nervous.

I like to have things on my mind in case the conversation goes sour or becomes dry. For example, if he plays any sports, you can bring that up if yall fall into a moment of silence. Also, there’s the worst teacher in the school and also your favorite music/band.
