Is it just me or is Facebook having profile/user issues.

I can’t do anything! My chat doesn’t work and when it does it’s for a couple minutes then when I respond to a friend I get “You don’t have permission to chat with this person.” THAT is NEW! I have never seen that before. I have no idea what to do and I haven’t gotten any response about my concern.
