completely confused about equalization/mixing
i’ve been trying to understand it for years and it just gets more confusing to me. all i really want to do is be able to properly alter the frequencies of each track in all of my home recordings so my band’s home demos can sound clear. but this is so far over my head and i cannot learn how to use an EQ section or a Parametric EQ. and i don’t know how i’m supposed to understand a difference when i alter it.
if anyone could help me actually understand this, maybe i could actually get a hold of myself and figure it out. thanks.
