Well, the healing time ranges from about 3 months to almost a year.

I had mine done some time ago, and the woman told me that it’d take 6 months until it’s fully healed, but mine healed in 3 months.

When it’s fully healed, wait a few more weeks just in case, and then change it straight away. Don’t leave it empty because they close up pretty quickly. :)

I cleaned mine regularly so it wouldn’t get infected.

Keep it cleaned with antiseptic or salt water, sometimes they give you a bottle of antiseptic after they have done it. Should clean it about 4 time’s a day.
Keep turning the stud so it does not scab coz that will hurt if it set’s, make sure you have clean hand’s when your touching it though.
Try not to sleep on that side.
They say you can change it after about 6 - 8 week’s but i would say to leave it longer than that.
Don’t put cheap metal in it when you change it, it can react & get really infected.
Once you have had it for ages you can put cheaper metal in it coz it will of healed properly.

It was 1 red rose, (sad i know but the county i am from is known as the red rose county so that’s the reason behind it) but after a while i stopped liking it so my solution = get it extended, now it is 2 red roses going through a heart. (I will add at this stage, i am female not gay!) :)

It’s not neccesarily the actual tattoo that i hate, though i could of chose something better, it’s the fact it is there & it is on view a lot, my other one’s are very rarely visible, normally just boyfriends that see them.
It’s at the top of my right arm but women wear strappy top’s all the time in summer or when going out so it’s alway’s there & im ashamed of it, especially if im going somewhere classy that requires a formal dress.

Ahhhhhh….. I see… Yeah.. I suppose that’d be a bit*h to try cover up without getting a skin graph!

My one is on my upper left arm.. so a t shirt covers it! Although.. I dressed up as a caveman for halloween! I thought it was ironic!

Ha ha :) In a tshirt its covered but in a strappy top it’s on view, id rather not have anything there at all.
I went to see about getting it removed, it would cost about $90 per session & would take up to 8 session’s but they can’t remove green or red, it will fade but won’t go completely, thats a bit of a problem when the tattoo is of roses!

HEhe!! That’s a bit steep just to get a tatoo removed! I’d say leave it! It’ll remind you of a time when you were all impulsive!

Yes it was pretty good, when i lived there i always wanted to see giants causeway but i didn’t get much time off work so i didnt get there, i went to see it this last time though, that was good.
I also kissed the blarney stone.
I think west cork, county kerry & clare are stunning, really enjoyed that.
Went to newgrange, that was good.
Went pretty much everywhere really, i think i covered everything.
