I see. Like angie said AN house like the H wasn’t there. I had a Canadian friend who made his H silent too. It’s interesting how we all speak the same language but it’s so different too!

haha no, I actually managed to sleep through dinner, so I ended up very hungry with lentils at about 9 like a real student.
But the cu of tea was really nice! I appreciate the help anyway lol xx

lol! that’s hard to explain. “nip to the shops” just means to go to the shops, but it has to be a quick visit and then straight back home.
