I’m losing my best friends..I don’t know how to deal.
So I have two best friends. I met both of them freshman year, and became individually close to each one. As the years went by we all three ended up becoming really close with each other. We called ourselves “the trio” and we were so happy because we would always stay friends because we never got involved with drama like the other groups of friends in our grade. This year, I started missing a lot of school..I kind of have a problem. When it comes to school I just never want to go, I always say the night before a school day that i’m going to go, but I almost never do. I don’t know why I do this, but it’s just became a habit. At the beginning of this year my two best friends offered to help me out with this and try and get me to come to school. It worked for a little bit but then I would stop going, and they got busy with their school work and such that they didn’t have time to help me. So I would offer one of my best friends rides to school and study sessions, anticipating that I would go to school, but I would always fail and not go. So I had a serious talk with her and told her I wasn’t dependable and that I was sorry. We were on good terms. Then recently my two best friends have been doing everything together, but I’m not there because I don’t go to school. They never invite me to stuff anymore and i’m almost always left out. They never talk to me anymore or call me to see why i’m not coming to school like they used to..I think that they have just decided that they can’t be friends with someone with a problem like mine, or maybe im too high maintenance? Its just really weird, because I was a loyal friend. Even when I didn’t go to school I would offer to bring them lunch and to do other nice things. I took them on vacation with me and my family and many concerts and other things. I just can’t comprehend whats happening. Losing them just kills me because they were the best friends I ever had. I just don’t know what to do. Please, just help me out, but don’t scold me for my school thing. I just need advice.
