i’m so in love with my ex…

we’ve been broke up since may and haven’t really seen him…then he rang and we met up, was good to see him again so i asked him to the pictures and he said yes and we had a great nite….i’m sitting here now missing him and wondering if i should call and invite him over…should i? i’m nervous he’ll say no but then at least i’ll know where i stand…so hard putting yourself out there to be rejected :(

I’d say make the call, just make sure you don’t get physical right off the bat.

Go for it. It’s worst to never do something and then wonder what would have happen then to actually do it and find the results to not be what you wanted.

I’d take getting rejected over wondering what would of happened anyday. ANY besides, it’s not a sure thing you’d get rejected :)

Wait for a bit.

OH and make sure it sent :p

If anything you can “accidentally” send the same text twice just to be safe.

But yeah, just wait for a while longer.

You should definitely try - you never know what might happen, and surely it is better to know even if the answer is negative rather han regret not answering…

Try it. The fear of rejection is a good one to conquer through trial and error anyway.

I’m very sorr to hear that Anon… maybe he is truly indisposed at the moment?

You’ve made the first move, I’d suggest putting it behind you. If he makes contact back, then it will be your turn to make a decision.

The relationship didn’t work the first time round so why do you think going back to him would work now? You weren’t rejected as such…. but it is time to move on.

That’s not always true. Me and my current girlfriend broke up along time ago. Got together again and now we’ve been together for 2+ years. Just because it didn’t work the first time doesn’t mean it won’t next time if the chance is given.

I think that all hope isn’t lost after the first breakup. If taken the right way by both parties I think it can even strengthen the final relationship. Once there have been 2-3 breakups however, that’s when I would go so far as to say that it’s hopeless. All trust is lost at that point.
