How do you win the game of NIM?

I can’t understand any of the tricks online (binary crap), and the algorithms make no sense at all. Please help me understand…

Depends if it is Misery (yah yah, I know, but that’s what I call it so deal) or Normal mode.

Either force the other player to take the last object, or take the last object yourself depending on the mode.

Basically, reduce the number of available moves the opponent can make, ensuring that they are forced to make a move that will lose them the game.

Maybe you should start with Tic-Tac-Toe, and once you’ve mastered that game. Move up the food chain.

Backgammon
Mancala
Go
Chess
Then give Nim a shot again.
