To worship God is to love him. To love God is to obey his commands. It is clear in the Bible that witchcraft is wrong, but all sin is equal in God’s eyes. You need to stop the witchcraft and seek forgiveness, but I am not God and I cannot condem you to hell. Try talking to a pastor about it.

Depends upon whether or not the Bible is right. If it is literally true, then yes.

To worship God is to reverence Him by acknowledging that He is your Source. To practice witchcraft is to seek the occult as a source of a need. You cannot worship God and practice witchcraft at the same time. You either believe in one or the other as the supplier of your needs. You are very confused and you really need to think about what you are doing. Then make a decision about what you believe. God is ready willing and able to supply all your needs.Pray and believe that He wants to help you. He is waiting to bless you. Remember, it is personal. So, don’t rely on what others think or do. You must decide what you believe. Then be willing to act on your belief. Consider the cost. Is it really worth it to you to take the chance on going to hell? You decide. Then act on your decision.

The bible drove me crazy telling me not to practice witchcraft and I threw all my magic books away. However I believe the church at the time was afraid of losing power and so condemned witchcraft and inflicted fear into peoples minds to gain the power back. I could go further into this but I won’t as I don’t want loads of people on this thread saying I’m offensive to religion etc. I was brought up methodist christian, I did practice magic but stopped after reading the bible. I still keep the bible however I wouldn’t describe myself to be religious. I do believe in something higher and life after death and that’s enough for me I have to say. I don’t believe in hell, except my concept of it is being stuck in this materialistic, violent world and with myself. Therefore I now believe more in the power of positive thinking and doing good in the world but also good for myself. I think this is ok and if the universe condems me then I will take the risk ;-) I have to say you have to look at if you want to practice magic and if you see this as the true path or you want to be religious or if you seek solice in spiritual journeys, churches, saving the planet etc. You must be practicing or wishing to practice magic because you are missing something in your life, maybe love or friendship? The thing with magic is sometimes you can wish for too much and go too far however if you choose to persue it do so with care and only for the good of mankind. It is said that Jesus was a magician and scientist, I have a book called ‘The thirty missing years of Jesus’ and I will get around to reading it these days but basically his years from 18 to 30 were missed out in the bible. As the bible says knowledge is good also if you are doing stuff for the good of mankind I doubt very much you are doing anything wrong. However I’ve concluded a lot of magic is just positive thinking and beliveing in the good of the world and the positive vibes of the universe… which is magical and mysterious in itself.

Witchcraft has a satanic connotation. Just take a look at what happened to the ones who were accused of being witches in Salem, Massachusetts during 1692. They were burned at the stake for believed to have been influenced by the devil.

My view on Satan, in the Christian sense, if the story is true, is that he was rejected by God because he wanted to be someone special, to me every living thing is special even the elusive, supposed Satan if the story is true. If God is perfect in every way and he created everything perfectly then why reject Satan? The story was made up to regain power of the church and to condemn anything outside the church. One of the 10 commandments of Moses was “Thou shall not kill” therefore Why did the Church kill?”… to me that seems wrong. However as the bible also quotes we are mere mortals who think we understand everything, yet really know very little. Therefore I try to not reject anyone or bring hatred upon anyone merely understand them and try to help wherever possible. I also can’t judge what is right or wrong but then neither can the church. I have to say I found comfort in the spiritual church so therefore have not rejected church and everyone is buried in some religious format so no matter how much a person athiest or otherwise can reject the church they will still be buried on consecrated grounds and asked for forgiveness, unless they specify otherwise or fall unfortunately to being lost through war or natural disasters. Hope I haven’t offended just putting my views across and according to the bible God gave us free will so I don’t think it is wrong to practise magic or express my views and I don’t want to offend.

I meant to say they were hanged. Most of them anyway.

remembering back in the old testiment
the pagan religion who influanced the children of God
(Isrealites under Jehova)
God killed them
Jehova of the old testiment is Jesus Christ of the new testiment
there is no seperation
there are no 3 Gods
It is One God. Showing Himself in 3 diffrent ways.

He is the same yesterday today an forever.
What he refused in the old testiment as mixed religion he refuses now.

Are you looking for a loop hole to allow you to practice witchcraft?

You are allowed to practice witchcraft, divination, necromancy, sure we all are. Just as Paul says ” Everything is permissible, but not everything is beneficial”

What does witchcraft do exactly? It allows you to “cast spells” call upon demons, familiar spirits… eventhough one does not think they are doing just that, the power does not come from “within” and the bible shows God’s power against the so called power of Pharoh’s gods, by sending diliberate plagues to the Egyptians, mocking each god that was a representation of each plague.

Also, one cannot love God and enjoy, partake in witchcraft, buddhism, etc, because in order for one to love God, one has to know God. I do not doubt that you may know a small degree of God, but to know Him is to love Him. If one truly loved Him, they would not stray so far away from him.

Now please do not get offended, I am not willing to say this if I was not willing to say this about myself. I too once followed after demons, unknowingly, but willingly. I found out the hard way and almost lost my life several times while chasing after something else, because I misunderstood God and didn’t take the time to properly know him. I was enticed by the same one who enticed Eve, who still entices this world today.

He still speaks the same message ” You won’t die, you won’t offend God, go ahead, do what you want, see God doesn’t care because he has not smitted you in the very least”

One cannot worship God, sing praises to Him, thank Him and then thank the devils who are among sculking about. One cannot serve two masters and Jesus says that ” They worship me with thier lips but their hearts are far from me.”

I am not saying anything new that the bible doesn’t already say… but I suppose those who want to continue to do what they desire want a way to do both.
God will not be mocked, and every knee will bow, and He judges all our hearts and eventually if one keeps turning away and living in denial, he will harden the hearts like he did Pharoh, Saul, and Esau among others.

Basically, no matter what you do, some people are going to tell you that you are going to burn in hell.
