buy her some gum and apologize or tell her you where going to replace it as soon as you went out.. she’s making a huge deal out of nothing.

Geez I’ve stolen worse things … play dumb pretend you thought it was your gum and offer to buy her the gum back or write a note sayin’ “listen I didn’t want to admit I had stolen your gum because it seems so dumb, hope you are ok with the pack I bought you, hope you and me as roommates are not through”…. just an idea !

wow, that’s absurd. above an apology? it was a pack of gum. you didn’t do anything wrong, shes overreacting and probably likes to be mad at people because it gives power over them. just calm her down if you can, let it blow over, detach from her as best you can, and look for a new roommate that isn’t that psychology disturbed….. above an apology for borrowing a pack of gum. ugh

I know it’s crazy, she’ll chill out soon just offer the gum back and say it was a mistake, didn’t think it would offend or something along those lines :-)

thats a rather large over reaction to a pack of gum, but the fact she says “im sick of this ****” suggests this isnt the first type of run in of this nature you have had with your roomie.
i bet theres other issues going on there too.
talk to your school about moving rooms.

also, considering this is basically the exact same post:
http://help.com/post/324354-hi

and in it you admit to being a “klepto” id say gum isnt the first thing youve taken, and she has every right to be pissed off at you.
get help for your problem, or everyone in your life is going to end up hating you.
