It’s only a theory on the mayan calendar. Just because it ended on 2012 and scientists were like,,, ooooOOOoh.. lets make up all these possible creative theories on how the world will end and make everyone believe it!

The world will not end in 2012. Well that’s what i think.

Don’t worry about it too much. Don’t worry about when the world will end or the time we have left. Worry about what you are gonna do in those years.

No one knows when the world will end, not even the mayans. I think only god knows.

Just live your life to the fullest!

you need to research the mayan calander yourself and you’ll see that the fact it ends in 2012 does not represent the end of the world but is imply reflective of their counting system

we are expected to have a nice bout of strong solar flares in 2012, but we have spectacular space events every year, thats no reason for believing this will be it?

I’m interested to know what it is youve learned in science and what movie you watched, just cause I love looking at this kind of stuff for my own interest :)

no one can predict the end of the world, we’ve lived through a few predictions already that never came about, our parents, grandparents, end of world prophesies are been around ever since humans were conscious of our surroundings, but they never came to light

I think you will find that in 2012, a new calendar system will just start; the same way that January the 1st comes after December the 31t.

there’s allot of material you can read about it.
i understand that allot of people that used to never be interrested in this can be easily fooled by people that are trying to scam them with new stories that are kinda like the bigdeal at the moment but as a person that has been interested in these cases my whole life i get a feeling for the authenticity of certain cases.

with this certain one it does interest me.
i feel the mayans are talking about a phase in the growth of man and earth and that things will change for us.
that certain things we know will dissapear and die.
but as western civilisations came to do is being affraid of death.
death is merely the start of something new.
the mayan calender is a WHEEL.
and a wheel doesn’t have an end does it? :)
i think that should be proof enough seeying as no other civilisation bothered to make a calender out of a wheel.

i know this, the solar solstace is starting over in 2012 and the wobbling of our solarsystem through the milkyway galaxy’s disc will start over.
we wobble up and down through the disc.
in 2012 we’ll be exactly in the middle of the disc (not the center)

think about this too.
if the mayans knew about the end and they depicted it?
how could they have done it if things didn’t start over after that.
aparrantly they had this experience they wanted to share with the future generation.
thus there being a future and they knowing so :)

have a nice day.

As I understand it, 2012 is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius in Astrology circles. I wouldn’t take too much notice to that though, as the next astrological era is anything from 2012 to 2100.

So believe that the magnetic rotation of the Earth will reverse. There’s no evidence of this because, all life would be destroyed on the surface.

In the last century, there have been at least ten predictions for the end of the world. You have just as much chanced predicting the end of the world with some dice as these so called professionally have.

true i forgot about that one.
there has been found layers of hardened lava everywhere on earth where there has been a 180 degree shift in direction thus the theorie was rizen that the magnetic field of earth turned upside down.

it was like 10 years ago i heard that
