Knee popping– is this normal?

My knees pop… a lot, and I’m only 18. I have listed my history of knee problems already in a dozen posts, but my left knee is the real culprit as of late. I’ve been to a bone doctor, knee doctor, regular doctor ect. and they say it is just soft cartildge underneath of the knee.

I want to know if it’s normal that sometimes when sitting indian style (bringing the leg up, bent, and rotating the hip) if your knee sometimes will pop. Mine popped last night towards the outside and it’s just been feeling funny since– will I be alright soon? I’ve had this happen before, I just don’t get what it is.

Mine pop when I stretch and stuff like that, ever since I was, I dunno 13? It’s just bubbles in your joints popping. I used to be super freaked out about it and asked my doctor, and she laughed it off and said, it’s totally normal! Some people just have poppy joints.
Probably nothing to worry about, unless if you’re in pain.

I’m pretty sure its the same sort of thing as when people crack their knuckles. It’s just something some people can do very easily, caused by loose air.

It’s not a problem… some people have more flexible joints than others… my friend has a knee that pops right out of the socket and he can move it up and down his leg… it’s gross to watch but just proves the body is a weird thing!
