Anyone good with excel worksheets?

I’m trying to figure out a way to make a formula that will work so I don’t have to work so hard… See I need a formula that will change by row but not column… I’ve got two columns with different numbers and I need the rows to be multiplied together individually, e.g. h1 * j1, h2*j2, h3*j3 etc… but if I have to put them all in individually it will take hours… any ideas?

Why dont you just do the j1*h1 formula in the first box then when the answer is put into the box put your mouse on the bottom right hand corner of the box and drag the formual down. It should fill in the formuala for the rest and give the answer.

Yes. You can just copy and paste the first formula. Each new row will add to both columns. Put in the first one, copy it, and then paste it down the column as far as you want to go.
