Im lost in Drugs…

over a year ago when i was 12 in portugal on a family holiday in the summer 2008, my dad screamed at me you f*cked up child you little sh*t you were a mistake and stuff like that, so i ran off and my sister came chasing after me, and gave me a *** and said smoke its the right way its better, so i started even know i got really bad asthma, i struggle to breath but i dont care i carry on and iv been smoking since and at the beginning of 2009 summer hols i smoked weed and stuff and been smoking it every week, my dad is always stoned so is my sister but i want everything to stop what should i do ? im only 13..

addiction is a disease and you may not be able to help yourself. What makes the whole different in the world in any situation is self motivation.

Ask yourself. Trully ask yourself: Do I have the will to change my situation?

If you trully do, you will seek out help. There are hundreds of programs for people in situations such as yourself.
They work if you’re willing to put in the work.

Question is: how bad do you want it?

no because most of my relatives are dead… i can stop but i can’t.. i kno how to, to stop buying but, the addiction is strong

how on earth are you going to stop your addiction when your surrounded by it!
you need to find somewhere else to stay

even if you do kick your addiction, what happens then
your still going to get grief of your father!
hes still gona be stoned of his head, therefore taking his anger&paranoia out on you

my mum is here but she just laughs, she never takes notice and when i tell her when my dad hurts me or when hes stoned and violant i tell my mum that he has to stop and she starts crying and says next time we will walk out but i want to stop, im tryin my hardest my parents dont know that i do it tho, but its in the house i am so stuck at what to do x

especially when kids are involved
what sort of example are they giving you&your sister to stand by&do sweet fa

sorry but it really angers me, how kids get treated
we are supposed to look after our children
were are supposed to teach them right from wrong!

what sort of parents does this to their *** kids

look man… I used to do drugs… Weed or whatever you want to call it… my wake up call was when i was arrested and my entire car was searched and seized.. once your on the back of the police car…. that’s where you think about what you did and how stupid it is.. I am telling you jail is not a place for a minor… to me addiction is all in your mind and can be stopped if you really want to… Power of will is all that matters

well, tell someone that you trust like a close family member, or a doctor. i am sure that as soon as you tell them the situaltion that they would be more than happy to find you help. you are only 13 so you shouldnt have to be deling with this but unfortunatley you are, seriously, just tell someone and get some help.

Most of my family smokes as well. I did for a while until I developed extreme paranioa, anxiety and depression and had a nervous breakdown. It was really bad, had to go to a “behavorial center” for a week. Just look at your parents and all your family members and tell me are they truly happy and successful in their lives? Take advantage of your outsider perpective and realize you can’t really have a good life when you are involved with an addiction. You’re too young to let something like this take control of your life and you’re better off without it. If you want to stay away from the influence, just dont go home except to sleep. Of course be safe just go to a friends house during the day time or to the park or library or maybe get involved in some after school activities. If your parents ask you why you’ve been absent from home so often, tell them the cold hard truth and it may just be the wake up call they need to be better parents.
