Im about to do my driving test.

Im terrorfied, its my second one. I fall to peices in the exam but my instructor says im a great driver. Any words of advice? To calm me down?

Don’t let it get to you. I failed 3! times and was convinced I was NEVER going to pass-I had a really terrible experience my first time, I just wasn’t ready and after that I let the nerves get to me every single time. Eventually I told myself it wasn’t the end of the world if I failed and that was when I passed with a perfect score.

ok, when i drive… i like to drive solo…. my suggestion to you is when you are on the road think of the road only…. don’t think about the person sitting next to you… if you are able to mute him out you will be fine…. its the fear in you that is causing you to fail… Just relax and follow instruction you will be fine if you know how to drive…. best of luck

i failed today but my examiner wa shorrioble. she is the worst there, so many complaints been filed against her, i was told by other instructers. She failed me for stupid things even grabb dthe wheel and said ‘try to be aware of other road users’ as though i was gna hit the car approaching which was an instant fai;. I was no where near the cari am one of the best students of my instructer… or so he said haha… and she basically failed me for no reason. she made comments throughout the whole test, really made me more nervous for my next one. :(

I’m sorry! Practice a bit more and request a different examiner the next time. We can all use improvement on the road. However that being said, it sounds like the examiner you had today had some issues of her own. Relax, think of the examiner as a friend who wants you to pass this test. Better luck next time, don’t give up!
