Next period I have critiquing with an extremely scary teacher.

We had to do these drawings and mine took 5 hours and it still looks terrible…Any advice on how to handle her brutal criticism?

laugh!!. when she criticise you just answer back whit a small laugh, donét shiw her that you care for her criticism and beleive me next time she will think twice befor doing it. she might increase the trend in the beggining but jst keep on maughing each time and she will cut it out beleive me

No one has the right to be so critical when you have taken so much time and effort over something - she sounds like a horrible woman with no life outside school. Ignore her critisism - it means nothing and she is clearly compensating for a lack of a social life (she gives you a brutal critique, you give her a critique on her life ;))

be honest with her, that it took you that amount of time and youre not sure how to improve it, but you worked your **** off.
if shes any kind of teacher, she will appreciate the amount of work you have put in and help.
if all she critiques is how crap it is (or isnt), then shes just on a power trip tryin to make herself feel cool and you can just ignore everything she says.
