is there such a thing as ‘age profiling’?

Being arrested or accused of a crime because your young and the officer thinks theres no way you werent doing somthing wrong since your a teenager?

haha yes. except the call it “suspicion of mischief” when they pull you over. a broken headlight can be enough for that. **** pigs haha

and sadly its pretty accepted. the first time i got pulled over at the age of 16 for speeding I cried. The cop said i must of been hiding something and searched my car and called in a drug dog. Just b/c i cried. he said it was probable cause for a search.

probable cause is terrible. i had a bob marley gum container in my car. they tore my car to pieces haha.

yeah him searching my car mad me cry even more……i didnt even drink at the time let alone smoke anything. I hate the man!! but now i know my rights and you dont have to let them search you, your car, anything without a warrent

profiling can be quite useful sometimes, a lot of companies use it.
insurance companies for example have higher premiums for young drivers because statistically, that age group is more likely to have a crash, med. companies charge older people more as statistically they get sicker more often etc etc.
profiling can be very useful, but it can also be misused, as shown in the examples above i guess.
