It sounds like he is just using you now. He knows you will do anything for him and is taking advantage. Stop helping him so much and look for someone new to spend time with

If you really don’t want to lose his friendship you need to sit him down and have a talk. Ask him what he thinks about your friendship, if he values it, what he likes about it, how he sees you, etc.

Jeez - it really does sound like you’re not being respected. You may want to take a look at yourself and figure out how you could be so fond of somebody who treats you so horribly. You may have deeper issues than just this friendship. Work on them now or you will be taken advantage of in the same way by future friends and lovers . . .

If you only hang out when homework is involved then how can you call that addicted?

Well, if it’s senior year then you’ll be off to bigger and better things anyway. You’re lucky! In future friendships and relationships, make sure to watch for signs that you aren’t being respected.
