Is long hair for a guy a turn on for women? - Help.com

For me… I like long hair on girls… *smiles* my hair is long… I’m a girl… it seams natural… but for guys… I’ve never liked long hair… and I also don’t like beards on guys either. But I guess it really depends on who it is. Some guys I know, I can’t picture them without longer hair.

Your generalizing too much.

Some girls like long hair, some like medium, some like short, some like bald, some like anything, some dont care…….

What you have to do is just go with whatever looks best on that person and they are most comfortable in is always the best look and girls usually notice. Person under the hair is more important still.

Personally i like a man to have short hair…and no facial hair…. but everyone has their own preference. I did find men with hairy chests very attractive… preferred the bare chest look…. however i got use to it with my last partner…. guess it is more about the person than how much hair they may or may not have.

If you want long hair… go for it. Who really cares. I’m sure even if you do have long hair a girl will end up liking you. Appearance isn’t everything. I think it’s what’s inside that counts.

My girlfriend says long hair on guys is unattractive. I’m gonna go out on limb here and say that most girls dislike long hair on men, except for those rare men that have the facial structure suited for long hair.

If I’m wrong I’m 100% sure I will be corrected lol

I like guys who hair is neatly kept, and no facial hair. I don’t like a blad head either. Long or short is what I prefer. But looks aren’t very important, it’s the personalilty that I care about and I’m sure most girls are the same way.

it kinda depends ont he hair, the guy and the girl.
ive dated guys with long hair, some were dreds and some were just neatly kept, long hair, and others with short.
but a guy with scraggly greasy lanky hair is probably going to be a turn off to most girls, simply coz it looks dirty.

The dirty hair is yes, a turn off I think on nearly any girl.

Clean, well-cared for hair can look gorgeous on anyone. But it’s a matter of personal preference for everyone. Honestly, I think when women fall in love with a man’s attitude and character, he becomes beautiful no matter what he looks like.

haha, i sorta see how a man carries himself and what he chooses to look like as a glance into his personality.

A long haired guy doesn’t appear to take himself so seriously, easy going, fun loving and laid back…but i may be wrong, lol.

hmm…i was thinking blues/rock as opposed to heavy metal, but I guess theres genres of hair styles lol.

I know a boy, had a crush on him for ages. I loved him for his hair, so long, so curly…i just wanted to play in it.
Thing was, I didn’t notice how tall, and handsome he was behind the hair till someone pointed it out to me.
He has the best taste in music,
we had so much in common…
turned out to be a bit of a player though.

I hate that, it sucks so bad. A guy has everything - but he knows it and just wants to get as much as he can.
Why not look for whatever is real???

Oh, answer - yes hair is a turn on for girls, but usually the more easy going, less princess type girls. Beware of them, don’t go near them - they will just make you get a haircut.
