I have a little problem for the holidays!

I love my family but unfortuntely we can’t choose. I have one family member that really (always has) been the “golden child” no matter what he has done in the pass ( trouble and a thief).
I recently moved back around my family from 13 yrs gone. All I hear is how great he does things and he has a 3yr old, and this BRATcan do ANYTHING, even slap his mom in the face and all the family says is ” he’s a kid”!! There is more things involved that will take all day to tell you.

Anyway… I am really considering my husband and myself not spending the holidays with my family only his.
Need some feedback. Is this the honorable thing to do when all I hear is he can do this and his child is the best in the world ALL THE TIME!? This IS NOT jealousy .. its TIRED OF HEARING IT!

Thanks,

Restless for the holidays
