How do I replace a macbook harddrive WITHOUT losing all my software?

I am going to purchase a macbook but it only has 80gb of hdd. I want to install a 250gb hdd and snow leopard to make it brand new, but I dont wanna lose microsoft office, iwork 09 and ilife 09. Is there a way I can save thse software from the old hdd to the new one? Or any other way just so I have it on my new hard drive.?

Well, I don’t use Macs at all so I can’t say anything for sure, but I would think you could transfer the contents of the old hdd to the new one. Then again, it’s a Mac, so I make absolutely no guarantees.
