I want to be in love. - Help.com

I want to be in love.

I think maybe I’ve seen too many romance movies so I don’t have a very
clear idea of what love really is. I just want someone closer than my friends.
I want someone special. My mom says to never force a relationship just let it happen.
But when will it happen?

People keep saying not to look for love because you will never find it.

What you are supposed to do is stop looking for it and it will find you!

I’m not sure how much I trust this to happen but it kind of makes sense. Its one of those things that you don’t really know what it is until you get it. Until my last girlfriend I didn’t know what it meant to truly LOVE! I learned while I was with her and I still love her. We are not together only because she was too messed up from her ex-husband. I am not looking for anyone to love right now but I do pray that I will meet someone. I too am in the same boat as you, I want to meet somoene to love, to pamper, to hold hands with. I want to meet a special lady to buy flowers for, to give a foot rub to at the end of a long day, to cook for/with, to do stuff and just to be with!

I wish you luck in your quest and hope Love finds you soon!
