1990s themed lock-in!

About two weeks from now I’m going with my friend to a 90s themed lock-in at her church. It’s just a big old youth group thing, and one of the main parts is to dress up in your best interpretation of the style disaster that was the 90s. Although I was born in ‘94, I’m clueless when it comes to this! Any suggestions on outfit choices?
I’d prefer to to go thrifting for anything, simply because I know I won’t wear it again, so keep that in mind.
