Since writing this post ma may have helped people, but has not within the last 4 days. ma is not a verified member, has been around for 3 weeks and has 1 posts and 0 replies to their name.

The only way to tell is to look at the sound card itself. The should be a serial that begin ct****. Once you have this serial number. Type it verbatum into google and you’ll find out what sound card you have.

Then just go to SoundBlaster’s website and download the drivers for you operating system.
