It’s not that hard, just be prepared to walk a lot.

You will need decent walking shoes/boots, and a proper bag ‘bergen’ which will hold your tent, cooking gear, waterproofs, water, food, and anything else you may need.

If you are sharing a tent with a friend then you can split up the tent and the stove to make it easier for you to carry.

its easy, you’ll have to plan a route of a certain amount of miles on a map, then walk it (probs have a couple of practice walks too)
Then camp over for a night and finish the walk the next day, its fun
Also you will need to do a skill (art, crafts, cooking etc) A sport (karate, football, swimming whatever…)And a service (helping out in acharity shop or at a animal sanctuary etc)
Its fun but for the camping bit you need quite a lot of kit
Tent
boots
water prrof clothes
sleeping bag
gas stove
pans
food
water (Lots of water!)
change of clothes
etc
Plus i had to pay £50 to do it, plus the fee for my skill and sport classes

Its good to have on your CV though
What else do you need to know?

Erm a bit
More dedication really
The bags are very heavy and the walk is quite long and normally a lot of up hill
So try practicing with heavy bags
Its great if you’re with friends though
We filmed ours and the video of it is brilliant, plus makes the time pass quicker
A mp3 player would probably be a comfort too
