Will this effect my academic future?

last semester i completely stopped showing up to two of my classes after the first week because i didn’t feel like going… i didn’t withdraw from either of them so i ended up getting an F and an AW. so now i’m wondering if i’m going to majorly regret this when i try to transfer to a bigger university or if one bad semester won’t really matter.

Yes, it absolutely will affect your academic future. The W will stay forever as a bad mark on transcripts, and the F will show as a bad mark and affect your GPA.

One bad semester may not cripple your future, but it will absolutely will have a negative effect.

It also wouldn’t hurt to work on your homonyms.

np, I failed psych twice for similar reasons. Hasn’t caused me any significant problems, just had to explain the situation to the dean at the university I transferred to…

and of course I have to take Psych still.
