Pursue dreams?

So I’m having a tough time with making up my mind. I’m so exhausted with school. The school I was previously at I was having a tough time being okay and not crying all of the time so I came home and have been going to a comm college for this semester.
I was thinking about taking a semester off of school and working full time.
Since I was so young, I have always had a dream of singing and being in a band. I know to most people that sounds ridiculous but I refuse to give up that dream. So I was going to work and either start my own band or find one to join.
Some days I feel like it’s something I really care about and am willing to work for and try so hard for so I feel like I should at least give it a shot because I can always go back to school.
Some days I feel like I should just go ahead and finish school first.

I just need some insight. Some advice.
Anything…
What would you do? What did you do with your life?

Dont give it up. I have always wanted to be an actress….just being on stage gives me no greater joy in life. And I have sacrificed college, time with family, good jobs ect. But I would do it all again if I had the choice. And I’m still doing it. You have to do what makes you happy. You cant live life wondering what if…..Its better to be old and know you didnt achieve your dreams, then being old and knowing you never tried.

I think part of the reason why I’m still considering school is that partially I’m scared.
And how you feel about acting is exactly how I feel about singing and writing songs.
Thank you so much for this and your advice.

I understand being scared. I still am sometimes I was in school and ended up quitting when my adviser told me I didnt look right and should consider another major. The only other thing I can say is dont let anyone tell you no. Dont let anyone tell you that you cant do it!
