sometimes it’s like im in purgatory..

i have a future yes.. but at this moment in time, im stuck between space and other’s perception. dreams are (as kansas said) dust in the wind. i just wonder about the time between now and real life.. can i sustain in a manner thats not reminiscent of a child begging for candy from his dentist.. yes future is inevitable, but what about now.. this moment?

memento mori… honest inquiry into the nature of death brings to light the meaning of life.
safe journey

Steve man, chill out. You’ve got just over a month before you leave for 4 years of intensity, enjoy your time and have a blast till the day dawns.

Maybe Read “F**k it: The Ultimate Spiritual Way” - http://www.waterstones.com/waterstone…

…”To allow every single sentient human being the opportunity to relax, let go and realise that things aren’t so darned important really by using a very simple phrase… F**k It.”

you’re right.. i’ve just never come to this kind of climax that involves all i’ve ever know and all that i cant fathom. the air force will be great in the sense of my future and my existence, but how the **** am i supposed to pass the time between now and the unknown, involving fear and uncertainty. im absolutely being over dramatic, but ****.. its the next four years of my life surrendered to who the **** knows what. tell me you can fell what im sayin

I get what you mean, it’s a total loss of control. Your life won’t be owned by you anymore, it’ll be the property of the United States Government. They giving you a good healthcare plan?

And yes, you are being overdramatic lol. A month isn’t that long, just enjoy yourself.

actually, you dont have a future.
future is an illusion, tomorrow is done.
all youve got is now, really.
so your purgatory is your reality.

i can dig your approach. and i realize that my future is in a certain perspective out of my control or grasp. i guess im just impatient for times to come, future reality. it’s like saying a prisoner on death row can feel the same vibe a month, year or decade ahead of his last meal. not that im comparing myself to a prisoner, its just.. no one can foretell their future on a surreal/unknown basis. we’ve all got this moment in time to decrypt actuality, be it what it will.

yea i hear ya, if i could jump the right now and get to the future, i would too :P
but then, i guess if you keep missing all the moments and opportunities that NOW has, your future isnt going to turn out how you planned anyways.
