Are you kidding, he was the top QB stats wise last season and has the #1 QB rating this season. If he had an offensive line that could stand up to a high school JV squad there wouldn’t be a single doubter. Top 4 this season (at least according to the analysts this week) are Favre, Manning, Brees, and Rodgers.

Dungy’s departure may cause a little concern but a healthy Manning overrides that. The loss of Marv isn’t anything to lose sleep over either. At this point, Gonzalez is a much better option.

Rodgers’ first year as a starter was a big success. Things should only get better.

5. Phillip Rivers
