Football help: Good god, how can Green Bay have a top 5 quarterback, a fantastic - Help.com

Good god, how can Green Bay have a top 5 quarterback,

a fantastic receiving corps, and a swarming, mobile defense and still be giving up so many points to freaking Tampa Bay? In the creamsicle throwback uniforms to boot.

Blasphemy!! Only part of their defense sucks… well, parts. Some of it is good.

Great, another interception. Not even a pretty one, it went through one defender’s hands and bounced off his pads and got picked up by another one.

I think the Chargers are going to win today even if they are the underdog!

And how is Aaron Rogers a top 5 quarterback??? Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Tom Brady, Ben Roethlesberger have all won superbowls and are waaayyy better… even Drew Brees, Carson Palmer, Tony Romo etc… are waaaayyyy better.

Are you kidding, he was the top QB stats wise last season and has the #1 QB rating this season. If he had an offensive line that could stand up to a high school JV squad there wouldn’t be a single doubter. Top 4 this season (at least according to the analysts this week) are Favre, Manning, Brees, and Rodgers.

Oh, that’s Peyton, not Eli.

Threw the ball more times than anyone else and completed 65.0% of them. The weapons around him make for another great year.

2. Tom Brady

2008: 76 Passing Yards

The ACL and MCL tears don’t worry me. We all know about Brady’s work ethic and competitive nature. He’ll get himself where he needs to be. Besides, the Patriots’ offense that features Moss and Welker is heaven for any QB.

3. Peyton Manning

2008: 27 TD, 12 INT, 4002 Passing Yards, 21 Rushing Yards, 1 TD

Dungy’s departure may cause a little concern but a healthy Manning overrides that. The loss of Marv isn’t anything to lose sleep over either. At this point, Gonzalez is a much better option.

4. Aaron Rodgers

2008: 28 TD, 13 INT, 4038 Passing Yards, 207 Rushing Yards, 4 TD, 3 Fumbles Lost

Rodgers’ first year as a starter was a big success. Things should only get better.

5. Phillip Rivers

2008: 34 TD, 11 INT, 4009 Passing Yards, 84 Rushing Yards, 4 Fumbles Lost

Who is this Favre guy? LOL… Houston 17 Indy 13 4th quarter Texans have the ball and the lead. 7-0 Colts are looking weak.

Oh that Favre guy, I hear he’s some old guy that used to play for a reputable franchise but turned Benedict Arnold to go play for some lavender wearing, pigtail sporting franchise as an accessory to the greatest HB of all time.

And again with the giant return. Its like the Packers don’t want to maintain a lead. Maybe they’re gunning for a better draft position?

28-17 GB with 12:00 to go against the freaking buccaneers.

At least something good will come from this game. Ahman green just went over Jim Taylor’s rushing record to become the #1 rusher in Packer’s history. 8208 in a Green Bay uniform, and who even cares what he did in Houston?

Indy is going 8-0… 20-17 with less than 2 minutes.

Green Bay is literally giving this game away. 28-31 Tampa now, 4:15 left. Rodgers isn’t exactly known for his 4th quarter comebacks, especially since our best HB is an old man with fumblitis, and the one that gets all the touches is a talentless hack.

Don’t feel bad Houston gave it to us. They missed a field goal from short range with one second left… HAHA!!!

Yeah, but Houston has beaten other teams. Tampa was in a battle with Detroit and Cleveland for the team with the least talent.

Don’t joke. Green Bay has to play Detroit again and after today it looks like ANYBODY could beat us. I mean Tampa did, who’s next? OU?

Oh, I forgot all about the skins while listing bottom tier teams.

And I feel your pain classic, I was a Packers fan back in the Majikowski era… dark times. Dark, dark, dark times.

Yeah, but you also had Barry Sanders. Our best back is/was Ahman freaking Green. Professor fumble himself. And now Grant? The guy that couldn’t make it as the 3rd string HB for the giants is supposed to be our starter? There’s a reason he was on the practice squad, he has no business starting on any pro team.

Hey I suffered through years of 3-13 before Peyton Manning came to Indy. When he leaves we’ll be just another sorry team too… Buccaneers did spank the Packers though, that’s really sad. They were 0-7 right?

On a brighter note the Giants have lost 4 games in a row and the Cowboys suck too…
