First, go get stitched up. Then, arrange to see a professional counsellor.

I really think you should go talk to somebody… If not a counsellor (highly suggested) maybe a friend or someone you trust…

Go and see a doctor and get the arm seen to…. maybe they will admit you to hospital and have you assessed quickly and fast track you through the mental health system.

You seem to have a lot of conflicting conditions…. anorexia and bulimia can go hand in hand…a bulimic who binges/purges can become aneroxic if their weight drops low enough to fit into that caterogy but alcohol has calories and an anorexic would struggle with taking those calories into their system and a bulimic might be able to take the calories in but would want to purge them ensuring that getting drunk would be almost impossible…. therefore the drink is unlikely to be the cause of the self harm….but you seem to have linked your drinking session with cutting… because there is so much going on with you i strongly sugget you go to A and E and ask to see a mental health professional…. and quickly.

I agree. You can stop, you just have to want to. As long as you have someone who believes you, they can help you in everything!

Unfortunatly at this time of night even in a city you wouldn’t find a church with it’s doors open now…. sign of the times but it just doesn’t happen anymore.

There use to be a time in the UK where you could find a church with it’s doors open 24/7… it just doesn’t happpen these days… smaller churches that are out of the cities sometimes do leave there doors open but the reason why is because if people want to be inside the church would rather let them easily enter rather than cause damage to the doors, windows or building trying to gain entry. Awful because a church should be a safe haven to turn to at any time.

You can’t hold it back forever though. Your gonna need a release some time and then you’ll bomb and you’ll feel bad and promise yourself to stop and then later on you’ll need another release and bam your in a helpless cycle. Go get someone to hold you accountable for your actions and have them check up on you regularly until you eventually kick your habit. This may take some time.

I am pretty sure you know some Christian friends… Get them together and get a guitar player and go sing worship songs. That might put your spirits in a better mode. And what about small groups or youth groups, aren’t they open usually on sunday afternoons?

Why do I have to turn to religion? I have nothing aqgainst it..in fact, I’m Catholic…but why is this always the answer? Is there no other answer than to pray?

No, there are other answers but the best answer of all is God. He is the way, the truth, and the life. If you go to him asking for help he will nit turn you down, unlike some doctors. He is the best medication that you can get, and the best thing is that it is all free.

Pray and GET SOMEONE TO CONFESS TO! Get a person like a pastor or a guy you know you can trust and tell him/her (usually best if its the same gender) about your problems and ask them to every so often to check up on you and help you stay away from doing it. The thing is, YOU are the one making the change, YOU have to want to change on your own and then go get help.

The answer may be religion in the long run…. possibly…. but right now you need to go to a hospital and get medical help…. which is what you were advised to do at the start of the post.
