I don’t think you can get rid of it - just ignore it and close any notifications you get from it - hopefully it will stop appearing.

Farmville is annoyingly addictive.

Go to the edit applications link at the bottom of the applications menu.

Click the X at the right side of your applications list.

It says that it will remove the app, but that’s prolly the effect you are looking for.
