You forgot to say that your snot runs too. It’s all part of the crying process or tear releasing mechanism that your eyes do. It’s got to do with your salivary glands which are connected to your tear making mechanism. It’s all part of the way your body keeps you moisturized when you feels stress or happiness.

i’v never thought about it. wierd…
Our noses also run when we cry, i think it’s because as tears are produced by the glands, some of them drain down into the tear ducts, and thus into the nose, where they mix with mucous, irritating the lining which produces more. maybe that happenes to the mouth too?
