I’m 37 and doing an access to teaching course, that will lead to allowing me to do an English degree. I feel the same as you but, don’t give up. If you don’t put the hard work in now, you will later and it will get harder. Especially if you get put down for being intelligent and speaking your mind.

Going to school sucks but, it has to be done. Just put your head down and get on with the work. You might be surprised to learn that you don’t have too much to do to catch up with the other students.

going to school is hard, but you have to put your mind to it and work hard.if not it is very hard to find any good paying job without some kind of degree.once you get past freshman year it should get a little easier

Dropping out of college will only solve a part of that problem, you won’t have to bust *** for 4 more years to get that low end job.

It also creates a new problem, you’ll never have the practical opportunity to advance beyond that job unless you are the next entrepreneurial genius to revolutionize how we live. Then again, if that person were you, you prolly wouldn’t be failing your classes, you’d just be dropping out to reinvent the google.

I agree the first year is the worst if you are away from home and not yet making any new friends there. You have to see the whole picture, you have to try to do your best in this situation and at least finish this year and then you can make some adjustments if you want.

Education is priceless. If you would give it up just because you don’t have friends in college and just because you think it would only land you a low-paying job when you graduated, then you don’t deserve it. Better stay away from school and when you’re old, you have all the time to blame yourself for all the wasted opportunities that you cannot have just because you don’t have the right education for it.

Yes, going to school sucks, but it worst a “suck” going to life with an empty brain!
Your Choice, mate!
