thanks for those I will check them out!!
answers.yahoo.com is the same thing, but it is really bad. there are more people which may seem good but most of them are jerks who are trying to gain points by answering questions.

so its low grade answers then?
yahoo answers doesn’t have quite the interaction of help.com
generally feedback from the poster is limited and it takes forever to get responses.

yeah I think the points system there defeats the purpose in many ways.
yeah its low grade. they are trying to get points, and then if you want to ask them a different question about their answer you have to email them, you cant reply like you do here. help.com is much better than yahoo! answers

plus there are so many questions it is unlikely you will get a response. most of the people are little middle schoolers anyways.
It really depends on which section you post in. I’ve posted most of my more serious problems in the psychology section and got back great answers. It’s more or less a crap shoot these days but it’s worth a shot anyway.

yes it seems that help.com encourages two way or more dialogue.
of the two I listed, topix is the most like this one. It’s a forum like and you will probably hear from the same people over and over. Be wary, it’s a very popular site so it can be very scary at times, trolls etc.
are you sure that is the correct name “topix”
I just get a news service out of that.
Yeah, they have forums on various topics. For example if I had a dance related question then I would go to http://www.topix.com/forum/arts/dance
They pretty much have a topic for everything.
try experienceproject.com its a pretty cool system. not as good as help.com though
Here is another: http://www.answerbag.com/c_view/24
yes all these site are sort of informational.
They lack the immediate interation of this site.
its wonderful.
