every time i see him i get shaky and nervous.

we dated for 5 years and broke up 7 months ago. i have only seen him a few times since then, and not spoken to each other. we have friends in common. last night i overheard him talking to a new girl on the phone. it suprised me how upset i was. i’ve been amazing, this whole time. only cried a few times. my life has changed for the better, and I’m much happier. but the idea of him being happy with someone else devastates me. i know it’s selfish… and he acts so **** casual, like he doesn’t even care, like he’s not upset at all! the whole time we were together i loved him more than he loved me, we broke up heaps of times.

So i guess my question is howdo I deal with seeing him happy with someone new??

it’s not that he doesn’t care about you, it’s just that he wants to move on with his life
